Botanical Name: Caladium bicolor
Common Names: Angel Wings, Elephant Ears, Heart of Jesus
Origin: South America (primarily Brazil and the Amazon basin)

🌞 Light

Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid harsh sun which can scorch the leaves. Can tolerate partial shade.

💧 Watering

Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy. Reduce watering when leaves start to go dormant (usually in colder months).

🌡️ Temperature

Thrives in warm, humid climates—between 65–85°F (18–29°C). Do not expose to temperatures below 15°C.

🌱 Soil

Use a well-draining potting mix rich in organic matter. A mix of peat, compost, and perlite works great.

💦 Humidity

Loves high humidity. Mist regularly or use a pebble tray/humidifier indoors.
