Plant Name: Agave in Luma Pot
Botanical Name: Agave americana
Common Names: Century Plant, American Aloe, Green Agave
Origin: Mexico and Southwestern USA
🌞 Light
Requires full to bright indirect sunlight. Best near a very sunny window or on a balcony. Adapts to indoor conditions with sufficient bright light.
💧 Watering
Water using the soak and dry method — water thoroughly, then allow soil to dry completely. Every 3–4 weeks in summer, once a month in winter.
🌡️ Temperature
Thrives in 65–100°F (18–38°C). Protect from frost and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
🌱 Soil
Use gritty, well-draining cactus soil. The Luma pot's drainage system supports healthy root aeration.
✂️ Maintenance
Remove dried or damaged lower leaves. Rotate the pot periodically for balanced growth. The sharp leaf tips are a physical hazard — handle with care.
⚠️ Sad Plant Signs
🟡 Yellow soft leaves – Overwatering or poor drainage.
📉 Stretching or leaning – Insufficient sunlight.
