Botanical Name: Dracaena trifasciata

Origin: West Africa
🌞 Light
Tolerates low to bright indirect light. One of the most adaptable and forgiving houseplants available. Avoid prolonged harsh direct sun.
💧 Watering
Water when the soil is completely dry — every 2–3 weeks in summer. Reduce to monthly in winter. Overwatering is the number one cause of death.
🌡️ Temperature
Ideal range: 60–85°F (16–29°C). Keep away from drafts and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
🌱 Soil
Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix for healthy root drainage.
✂️ Maintenance
Wipe leaves with a damp cloth. Remove any yellow or dead leaves at the base. Repot every 2–3 years. Virtually no other care needed.
⚠️ Sad Plant Signs
🟡 Yellow, mushy leaves – Overwatering. Let soil dry completely.
🟤 Brown tips – Low humidity or inconsistent watering.
📉 Drooping leaves – Root rot or severe underwatering.
