Origin: Native to the deserts of North America

Plant Care

• 🌞 Requires full sun to thrive. Place in a bright, sunny spot for at least 6 hours per day.
• 💧 Water sparingly. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. During the growing season (spring and summer), water every 2-3 weeks. Reduce watering in the winter.
• 🌡️ Prefers temperatures between 70°F and 100°F (21°C to 37°C). Tolerates heat but should be kept away from frost.
• 🌱 Use well-draining soil, such as a cactus or succulent mix, to prevent waterlogged roots.
• ✂️ Prune dead or damaged spines, but be careful not to damage the cactus while doing so.

• 🟡 Yellowing or softening: Overwatering. Ensure the soil is completely dry before watering again.
• 🍂 Shriveling or drying out: Underwatering. Increase the watering frequency but be cautious not to overwater.
• 🪲 Spines falling off: Physical damage or too much disturbance. Handle carefully to avoid further damage.
