🌿 Care Guide
Plant Name: Aloe Variegated (Tiger Aloe)
Botanical Name: Aloe variegata
Common Names: Tiger Aloe, Partridge Breast Aloe
Origin: Southern Africa
🌞 Light
Prefers bright, indirect light to partial sunlight. Some morning direct sun is fine. Avoid intense afternoon sun which can cause leaf burn.
💧 Watering
Water when the soil is completely dry — typically every 2–3 weeks. Very drought-tolerant. Reduce watering significantly in winter.
🌡️ Temperature
Thrives in 60–85°F (16–29°C). Protect from frost and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
🌱 Soil
Use a well-draining succulent or cactus mix. Avoid heavy soils that retain moisture as they cause root rot.
✂️ Maintenance
Remove dried or dead outer leaves from the base. Wipe leaves with a dry cloth to remove dust. Repot every 2–3 years when rootbound.
⚠️ Sad Plant Signs
🟡 Yellow, mushy leaves – Overwatering. Let soil dry completely before watering again.
🟤 Brown, dry tips – Underwatering or too much direct sun.
📉 Stretching/leaning – Not enough light. Move to a brighter spot.
