Botanical Name: Zamioculcas zamiifolia
Common Names: Zanzibar Gem, Emerald Palm
Origin: Eastern Africa
🌞 Light
Tolerates low to bright indirect light. Grows well even in low-light rooms but prefers medium light for optimal growth. Avoid direct sunlight.
💧 Watering
Water only when the soil is completely dry—usually every 2–3 weeks. Very drought-tolerant. Avoid overwatering as it can lead to root rot.
🌡️ Temperature
Ideal temperature range is 65–85°F (18–29°C). Keep away from cold drafts and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
