Root Rot

Symptoms: Yellowing or drooping leaves, mushy roots with foul odor.

Causes: Overwatering, poor drainage, compacted soil.

Remedy: Remove plant from pot, cut away damaged roots, repot in well-draining soil, water only when topsoil feels dry.

Brown Leaf Tips

Symptoms: Leaf tips turn brown and crispy.

Causes: Low humidity, fluoride or chlorine in tap water, excess fertilizer.

Remedy: Use filtered/distilled water, increase humidity, flush soil to remove salt buildup, reduce fertilizer strength.

Yellowing Leaves

Symptoms: Leaves lose variegation, turn pale or yellow.

Causes: Overwatering, low light, nutrient deficiency.

Remedy: Water less frequently, provide bright indirect light, feed with balanced liquid fertilizer.

Pests (Spider Mites, Aphids, Mealybugs)

Symptoms: Tiny webs, sticky residue, distorted or spotted leaves.

Causes: Warm, dry conditions, poor airflow.

Remedy: Wipe leaves with neem oil solution, spray insecticidal soap, isolate plant until pests are gone.

Wilting or Limp Leaves

Symptoms: Leaves appear droopy and lifeless.

Causes: Underwatering, root damage, or overcrowded roots.

Remedy: Water thoroughly, check root health, repot if rootbound.
