Thrives in bright, indirect to direct sunlight. Best placed near a sunny window. Tolerates lower light but grows slowly without adequate sun.

Water when the soil is completely dry — every 2–3 weeks in summer. The swollen base stores water, so the plant is very drought-tolerant. Reduce to monthly in winter.
